Job description

Role: Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU, responsible for delivering direct patient care, implementing and monitoring care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
• Assess, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi-state/Compact license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.
