Job summary

Description:The position is for a Neuro ICU RN in a high-acuity setting.This unit cares for neuro patients along with general ICU patients.Some patients may have transfer orders to different units.Ratios are generally 1:2, but can shift to 1:4 for downgraded patients.Candidates must be experienced in caring for ventilated patients and managing complex medical equipment.Required skills include arterial line management, central line care, and interpreting arterial blood gases.Travelers will be expected to float between similar units within their skill set.All RTO must be included during the interview process.References covering the past year are required prior to start.
