Meds Talent LLC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Neuro ICU in Honolulu, Hawaii, offering a full-time, permanent night-shift opportunity in a fast-paced neuroscience unit.

Join Hawaii's dedicated Neuro ICU team with 14 beds, 24-hour Neurointensivist and Neuroscience Acute Care NP coverage, and relocation assistance up to $11,000 for eligible candidates. Competitive benefits and on-campus parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license or eligible.
• Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical care for Neuro ICU patients.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes throughout the care process.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Assist with utilization management and discharge planning.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.

We're hiring an experienced Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU for a full-time, permanent night-shift opportunity in Honolulu, Hawaii.

About the Neuro ICU

The Neuroscience ICU is a specialized 14-bed ICU, with 8 beds on one unit and 6 beds on another.

The unit provides specialized care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with complex neurological conditions. Common cases include:

• Post-operative neurosurgical and neurointerventional patients
• Spinal cord injuries
• Intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhage
• CNS tumors
• Medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU overflow

The facility supports Hawaii’s first and only Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level I Trauma Center, and NAEC Level IV Epilepsy Center.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage clinical care for Neuro ICU patients.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.

• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes throughout the care process.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Assist with utilization management and discharge planning.

• Provide care for complex neurological and critical-care patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN License or the ability to obtain the license within 6 months of hire.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Minimum 12 months of ICU RN experience, preferably within the last 3 years
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
