Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Neuro at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. This full-time, night-shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers sign-on bonuses for experienced and new graduate nurses and a strong clinical foundation in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• RN must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state is required.

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Night Shift | 7:00PM-7:30AM

Sign-On Bonus:

• Experienced Nurses:Up to$10,000
• New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience):Up to$5,000

About the Role

The Medical‑Surgical RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include care coordination, patient safety, documentation, and the delivery of compassionate care aligned with Mercy’s mission and values.

This role offers a strong clinical foundation for nurses who enjoy variety, teamwork, and continued professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior hospital or acute‑care nursing experience
• Specialty certifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and assist up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking
