Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

You must graduate from a nursing program and hold an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license. A Basic Life Support certification is required, with additional certifications as unit-specific needs arise.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
