Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes accountability, confidentiality, and collaboration with other departments to coordinate care across units.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in the hiring state or be eligible for a compact license, with Basic Life Support at minimum and additional certifications as required by the unit.

Qualifications

• Education in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required at hire or within 30 days.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
