Position: Nurse Manager of NICU RN

Shift Hours: 11p-7a - (weekends w/rotation/on-call)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU (NICU) for our facility to ensure high-quality, efficient care for all patients.   • You will assist the Director with all department activities to ensure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities aligned with the facility's long-range plan, mission, vision, and values.
  • You will assist in coordinating the department's participation in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous Quality Improvement.
  • You will ensure nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate its effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
  • You will be responsible for assisting, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients in the Women's Services Units.
Job Qualifications
  • BSN required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
  • 2+ years of Acute Care NICU Leadership (Manager or Charge Nurse) experience required.
