Job summary

Mercy Coletta Cancer Center is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Navigator to support patients across the continuum of care. The role requires nursing expertise and collaboration with physicians, an interdisciplinary team, and families to coordinate treatment and care.

As a nurse navigator, you will work with Mercy’s patients to guide education, address questions, and connect them with supportive services, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing.
• Experience: 2 years related experience.
• Preferred Experience: 3 years in an oncology setting, formal patient education and community educational presentations, support-group facilitation.
• Licensure: RN (Registered nurse) licensed in state of practice.
• Certification: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred Certification: Oncology Nursing or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.

Physical Requirements
