Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical and Telemetry at our Oak Ridge facility. This 13-week assignment offers night shift hours (3x12) and a patient load around 1:5 to 1:6 depending on census, with opportunities to float to related units as needed.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and at least two years of current experience in similar settings; strong teamwork and Cerner charting familiarity preferred; travel not accommodated

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass EKG testing before start date.
• Current RN license is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are required.

Description:Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the specialty of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry.This position involves working nights with a 3x12-hour shift schedule.The primary patient ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.Weekend work is required every other weekend or 2 weekends per month.Travelers will not be accommodated for requests for time off during holidays or holiday weeks.The role may involve floating within various areas of the facility as necessary.Nurses will engage with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy for comprehensive patient care.Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 33 patients.Nurses will be responsible for various skills including managing ports, administering blood products, and caring for patients with conditions such as respiratory failure and congestive heart failure.A detailed understanding of charting systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred but not mandatory.Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a team nursing model, and a commitment to quality patient care.Please ensure that certifications and licensure do not expire within 45 days of the start date.
