Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Maryland on a 13-week MS Tele assignment. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and an active MD or Compact RN license are required, with BLS, ACLS, CPI and NIHSS certifications all mandatory.

The nurse will work on a medical-surgical unit with 1:5 patient ratio, 12-hour day shifts from 08:00 to 20:30, and weekends every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Required BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.

Description:The role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is essential.Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse License in Maryland or a Compact License.Certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS are mandatory.The nurse will work on a medical-surgical unit with a patient age range from adults to geriatrics.The patient ratio is 1:5.Weekly shifts consist of 3 days, working 12 hours each from 08:00 to 20:30.Floating within the specialty and working weekends every other weekend is required.On-call duties are not required for this position.The unit has a daily census of approximately 40-42 patients.Emergency response procedures must be familiar and executed as needed.The nurse will work alongside interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.Additionally, the nurse will manage various clinical procedures such as blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, and wound care.Compliance with all required documentation and protocols is expected.Candidates must be adaptable and ready to handle a variety of patient care scenarios within their scope of practice.
