Job summary

• Perform peripheral line care and participate in rapid response activation.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and document in EPIC.

Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics and Neuroscience.This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.The nurse will work 3 twelve-hour shifts during the night.The role may involve floating to different units based on patient census.Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.The patient population will primarily consist of adults and geriatrics.The nurse must be proficient in managing dysrhythmias and interpreting cardiac rhythms.Experience with respiratory management, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management, is essential.The nurse will also be responsible for peripheral line care and utilizing rapid response teams.Isolation precautions must be adhered to as part of standard protocols.Documentation will be performed using the EPIC system.The unit cares for patients with diagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, trauma, orthopedic issues, wounds, diabetes, and psychiatric conditions.Previous experience in a charge nurse role is preferred.
