Looking to level up your nursing career with flexibility, purpose, and variety? Join WellStar’s Enterprise Support Team (WEST) and become a key player in delivering high-quality care across our health system. As a WEST RN, you’ll float to different units based on need—expanding your skill set, supporting teams, and making a real impact where it matters most.

This is your chance to work across WellStar facilities, gain exposure to diverse specialties, and bring your expertise to teams that truly value your contributions. • Provide exceptional, evidence-based care to postpartum and newborn patients.

  • Own the full nursing process—assessment to evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs.

  • Navigate complex care situations with confidence and critical thinking.

  • Safely administer medications and procedures per protocol, including IVs and sterile technique.

Safety & Quality First

  • Follow patient safety best practices including time-outs, ID checks, and verification processes.

  • Align with TJC standards, system policies, and WellStar’s safety absolutes.

Team Collaboration

  • Flex between departments and facilities with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Collaborate with care teams, participate in bedside shift reports, and support interdisciplinary rounds.

  • Serve as a mentor or preceptor when needed—sharing your knowledge and shaping future leaders.

Patient Connection & Education

  • Deliver clear, compassionate education to patients and families.

  • Provide post-procedure and home care instructions to support smooth transitions of care.

What You’ll Bring:

Education:

  • Nursing Diploma required

  • BSN preferred

Licenses & Certifications (required at hire):

  • RN License (Georgia or multi-state compact) required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required.

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.

Bonus Points:

  • National certification in specialty area (preferred within 1 year).

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of current experience in the Mother/Baby area of clinical practice.

Skills & Mindset:

  • Strong communicator and collaborator

  • Fast-thinking, flexible, and cool under pressure

  • Committed to excellence, patient advocacy, and continuous learning
