Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother Baby unit in days (7am-7pm). You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, compassionate care to mothers and newborns, supported by Wellstar governance and clinical practice standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of direct patient care, an active RN license in GA, BLS, NRP/ACLS as required, and excellent communication in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or RN diploma; GA license required.
• BLS certification; NRP/ALS as applicable; RN licensing in GA.
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process with evidence-based care and individualized plans.
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care and ensure safety, quality outcomes, and compliance.
• Mentor and precept students or staff as needed.
