Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital in Louisiana is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Center. Weekend shifts require 11:00am–11:00pm with 24 hours per week, plus 12 hours scheduled during the week as part of a weekend incentive program.

The RN will coordinate a patient’s plan of care, interact with patients and families, assess nursing needs, and collaborate with the health care team to implement and evaluate care plans.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
