Job description

**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible**

*Candidates must be external and have at least 6 months of Registered Nurse experience to be eligible for the Sign-on Bonus.

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospitaloffers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services in southern Michigan and Ohio. A national leader in treatment of heart attack, congestive heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care, as well as a Primary Stroke Center, ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is also a pacesetter in Michigan for obstetrics, emergency care, intensive care, controlling infections and organ donation.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision and according to the established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Unit Overview:

  • Located on the 3rd Floor
  • 24 Bed Unit

Patient Population:

  • A wide variety of intermediate level patients specializing in cardiology (chest pain, atrial fibrillation, CHF, etc), COVID, and respiratory care

Education:Degree from an accredited nursing program.

License:Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan

Certification:Current BLS certification. Specialty certifications as required.

    • **RNs for this unit will be required to obtain ACLSCertification (not required prior to hire)
