Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS from American Heart Association and maintain certification.
• Current state nursing license in Texas.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates an age-appropriate plan of care using the nursing process and patient education.
• Maintains professional behavior and utilizes appropriate resources during conflicts.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, families, visitors, and employees.
• Assess risks to patient safety and implement precautions.
