You will deliver evidence-based care for critically ill medical patients, manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring, and collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and care teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled in BSN program.
• Washington, D.C. RN license or eligibility.
• 2 years full-time (or 4 years part-time) critical care experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill medical patients.
• Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring systems; respond to rapid patient changes.
• Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, respiratory therapists, and care teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Manage complex cases including multi-organ failure, sepsis, and respiratory distress.
• Support patients and families through critical illness with empathy and education.
• Ensure precise and timely charting of patient care.
• Guide families through disease processes and recovery expectations.
• Contribute to improving ICU outcomes and best practices.
