Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY seeks a Registered Nurse for the MICU on the night shift (7p–7:30a). The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate care and requires NYS RN licensure, BSN, and ACLS/BLS. CC RN and med-surg certifications are preferred.

1–2 years CCU or ED/Med-Surg experience is desirable. The position is full-time and weekend/holiday coverage applies.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN registration and licensure.
• BSN is required.
• 1–2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
• 1–2 years Med-Surg or ED experience required.
• ACLS and BLS current.
• CCRN certification preferred; Med-Surg cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care.
• Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the unit.
