Description:This position involves providing nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit.First-time travelers are accepted.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week.Every other weekend is required.Candidates must be available to work four out of eight designated holidays.Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.NIHSS certification is preferred.Candidates must have experience with EPIC charting.Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to emergencies.Candidates should be skilled in IV therapy and titrating cardiac drips.Care for ventilated patients is part of the role.Personal grooming requirements include shaving for a mask to seal for fit testing.Travelers are not permitted to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs.Failure to comply with grooming standards will result in cancellation of the position.The facility emphasizes safety and compliance for all clinical roles.
