Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical/Telemetry units in Los Angeles. The role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring, comprehensive assessments, and collaborative care planning to improve patient outcomes.

We have day and night shifts available. The position requires BLS, RN licensure, and solid experience in med-surg or telemetry settings, with a preference for BSN and ACLS.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical/Telemetry plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This position involves comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs. The nurse collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety. Additionally, the role demands vigilant monitoring of telemetry equipment and timely recognition of cardiac arrhythmias or other complications. Ultimately, the nurse contributes to enhancing patient recovery and satisfaction through compassionate, evidence-based care and effective communication. We have both days and nights available

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state or jurisdiction.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience as a RN in med surg or Tele unit, OR experienced in LTACH subacute or acute
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Previous experience working in a telemetry or medical-surgical unit.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
