Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Michigan. The role involves 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00-07:30) with alternating weekends, serving adult to geriatric patients with CHF, DM, COPD and other conditions.

The RN will follow established protocols to deliver high-quality care, monitor patients, manage IV therapy and vital signs, and collaborate with the care team. Prior authorization and documentation are required using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Michigan RN license must be active before start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient condition regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide optimal care.
• Manage cardiac drips and insulin titration per protocols.
• Perform wound care and chest tube management.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will provide care for adult to geriatric patients with various diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Orthopedic conditions, Chest Pain (CP), Pneumonia, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The RN will work under the established protocols and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Manage cardiac drips and titrate insulin as per protocols.
• Perform wound care and the management of chest tubes.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (EPIC) for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Must have a valid Michigan RN License prior to the start date.
