Our Med Surg Renal unit (4 South) is a PRISM award winning unit. The patient population includes acute and chronic renal disorders with comorbidities including possible cardiac, GU, GI, and respiratory diagnosis. The nurses have the privilege of being trained in peritoneal dialysis. 4 South has a close partnering with transplant and nephrology.
