Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and maintaining professional standards.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Georgia RN license and BCLS. Bachelor's degree is preferred, and prior hospital experience is advantageous. New graduates are eligible for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Active Georgia RN license and BCLS required.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education
