We’re seeking a dedicated staff nurse for our MedSurg unit during night shifts. The role is entry-level and is suitable for new graduates.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients throughout the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse operates within the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required

Graduate of a nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required

New graduates of a nursing program eligible.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law

Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

Additional Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred for PRN positions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
