Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Augusta, Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all life stages. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while coordinating activities for assigned staff to ensure quality care.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing school, hold a Georgia RN license, and may have additional certifications. This position requires no prior hospital experience but is open to new nursing graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Georgia State Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
