Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a staff RN for the Nephrology/Urology Unit on a full-time, day shift (7am–7pm). The unit provides dialysis services and specialized urological care, with training in Peritoneal Dialysis and strong teamwork.
Responsibilities include providing holistic nursing care across the lifecycle, coordinating care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Licensure in Georgia and BLS are required; BSN preferred; new grads eligible.

The Nephrology/Urology Unit provides exceptional care for our fellow community members who require Hemodialysis and/or specialized urological care. All nurses hired to our unit will become trained in Peritoneal Dialysis, the only hospital in Athens to provide this service. Our Nurses work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient centered care.
The Nephrology/Urology Unit is comprised of multiple skill levels with the support of experienced charge nurses and an energetic clinical manager.
It is important to have a unit council with all disciplines to assist in making unit based decisions to give the best patient care possible.

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
