Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Orthopedics Surgical Unit in Charlotte, NC. The role involves a nightly schedule of three 12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15) on a 13-week contract with potential extensions.

You will care for post-operative orthopedic patients undergoing joint replacements and spinal procedures, monitor cardiac rhythm, perform IV therapy, and collaborate with physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical Ortho setting.
• Current RN license; NC or Compact License pending is acceptable for submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
• Preferred: Skills in total joint replacement and spinal surgery.

Job Description

Join a fully surgical unit with a primary focus on orthopedics and joints. You will provide nursing care to patients undergoing procedures such as total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and other orthopedic surgeries. The team will handle occasional medical overflow, ensuring high-quality care across diverse patient needs.
