Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals Kings County Hospital Center seeks a professional Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in an assigned unit under supervision. Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and current RN registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit under supervision.
• Identifies patient health needs and implements nursing regimens.
• Develops and maintains nursing care plans and progress notes for continuity of care.
• Interprets patient responses to the health team and communicates findings.
• Delivers health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to plan comprehensive patient care.
