Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the E8 Medical/Telemetry unit at West Penn Hospital. The RN will assess patients with medical/telemetry needs, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care and health services.
• Performs nursing assessments, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.
• Maintains patient safety initiatives and adheres to hospital policies.
• Directs and mentors LPNs and support staff as needed.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of patient status and plan of care.
