Medctrbarbour is seeking an RN Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Director/Charge Nurse. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, coordination with LPNs and PCAs, and application of the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active Alabama nursing license with BLS certification; ACLS is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients assigned under supervision of Unit Director/Charge Nurse.
• Instruct LPNs and PCAs in patient care.
• Demonstrates the six steps of the Nursing Process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care in swingbed areas based on patient needs.
