Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Oncology unit. You will coordinate care with the nursing leadership and healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires Texas nursing licensure, BCLS, and completion of chemotherapy immunotherapy coursework within 6 months. ADN or BSN is required, with preferred 1–2 years of nursing experience and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas/Compact state.
• BCLS.
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Course (Complete within 6 months from hire)

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response; document care.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and educating patients and families.
• Translate complex medical terminology to ensure patient understanding of condition and plan.
