Qualifications

• Tennessee RN license required; CPR certification required.
• New graduate welcome within first year of orientation.
• Must meet licensure/certification requirements by issuing authority.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implements plan of care and evaluates outcomes.
• Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision.
• Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs and sitters.
• Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards; participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
