Rutherford Regional Health System in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking a skilled RN - Medical Surgical for night shift (7p-7a) with a 3×12 schedule and rotating weekends. A commitment bonus of $20,000 for experienced RNs or $10,000 for new graduate RNs is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires NC RN license (compact acceptable).
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Completes initial and ongoing assessments.
• Assessments include physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care abilities, educational, age appropriate, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Employee supervises others.
• Assists with orientation and training of others as directed.
