Job Description:

• Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care.
• Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs.
• Understand the range of treatment needed by these patients.
• Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
• Complete admission assessment in a timely manner according to policy and procedures.
