Position Overview

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse responsible for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care. The nurse should demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective coordination of patient care, adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes.
• Analyze data and document nursing diagnoses and care plans.
• Prioritize actions based on patient needs.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment.
• Provide patient and family education and revise care plans as needed.
• Document patient responses and use clinical judgment to meet care needs.
• Support professional practice in accordance with laws, standards, and policies.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS card.
• At least one year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Successful completion of testing process.
