Aura Health is seeking an RN Weekender for the Medical Pulmonary Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position offers a 36-hour week with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and requires working 4 weekends every two weeks.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, coordinating care plans, and educating patients and families. You will collaborate with the healthcare team, uphold nursing standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Conduct patient assessments, gather health data, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring safe, timely, and effective interventions.
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders via in-person, phone, and written interactions.
• Provide tailored patient and family education based on comprehensive assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
