Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Pulmonary Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with shifts 7:00am–7:30pm and every other weekend, with competitive hourly pay ranging from $36.00–$55.80, and a new minimum of $37.25 starting October for the second paycheck.

You will perform patient assessments, coordinate plans of care, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while maintaining current Illinois

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active IL nursing license.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care teams.
• Educates patients and families based on assessed learning needs.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Full time/Part time: Full Time, 36 hours/week

• Hours: 7:00am - 7:30pm, Every other weekend

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.

• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.

• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.

• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
