Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking an experienced RN for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit to join our night shift team. You will provide professional nursing care, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires 1+ year inpatient RN experience and an active Illinois RN license with CPR certification; ADN with BSN within five years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
• 1+ years' RN inpatient experience.
• If ADN is highest degree, must pursue BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care per Act and hospital policies; assesses patient condition and documents observations.
• Monitors patient progress, plans care, and delegates tasks to caregivers as needed.
• Works as part of a team to achieve unit goals and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

• Position: RN - Pulmonary Medicine Unit

• Location: Edward Main Hospital - Naperville

• Full Time: 36 hours/week

• Hours: Nights 7:00pm-7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays

What you will need:

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing

  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Required License and/or Certification:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do:

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
