Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Medical Oncology/Infusion Unit.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift.
• Work with cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatments.

As part of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (hopkinsmedicine.org) patients are able to receive the world renown treatments, including clinical trials and immunotherapy, of Johns Hopkins Medicine without leaving the region. Sibley Memorial Hospital - Johns Hopkins Medicine, is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital located in the beautiful Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC.

Position Details

• JH Kimmel Cancer Center – 37 chair- Medical Oncology/Infusion Unit.
• Full-Time, 40 hours per week - 10-hour day shift M-F (flex start times)

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in BSN program within 1 year of hire
• 1+ years dedicated Oncology/chemotherapy experience.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy ONS preferred. Must be OCN within 9 months of hire.
• Excellent IV skills and knowledge of central line access and maintenance.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support

Salary Range: Minimum $46.18 per hour - Maximum $71.58 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
