Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• 1 year Medical/Surgical experience required
• BLS certification required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Complete education and demonstrate clinical competence for Therapeutic Phlebotomy within 3 months of hire.

About This Role

The Medical Infusion Center Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. What You'll Do

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Successfully complete education and demonstrate clinical competence for the practice of Therapeutic Phlebotomy within 3 months of hire.
• Administer chemotherapy.
• Perform port access skills.
• Demonstrate excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Requirements

Education:

• Other Certificate/Diploma Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience:
