Overview:

The Medical/Surgical Intensive Care unit is a 14-bed, mixed population critical care department that serves a multitude of patient populations. Service lines included Cardiovascular Surgery, Neuro Surgery, and Medical Nurses provide highly specialized care, including management of various treatment modalities including, but not limited to: Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Left Ventriular Assist Device (Impella), Therapeutic Hypothermia, Intraventricular Device and Intracranial Pressure monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
