Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN for the Med/Tele Unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This 36-hour position covers the Evening/Night shift with weekend and holiday rotation, delivering patient-centered care on a 47-bed telemetry unit.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, teaching patients and families, and collaborating with the health care team to improve outcomes while upholding dignity and respect.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients on Atwood 4 med/tele unit.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and discharge planning.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with nursing and care teams to maintain standards.

We are searching for a talented RN for the Med/Tele Unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Atwood 4 is a 47 bed medical telemetry nursing unit.The patient population consists of individuals with multiple medical problems including, but not limited to: sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI's, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease.The goal of Atwood 4 is to provide comprehensive and collaborate patient care by skilled health care providers to optimize patient care and quality of life, while striving to deliver excellence in patient satisfaction. **Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.

• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

• Three (3) months experience is preferred.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
