HCA Florida Putnam Hospital is seeking an RN for Med Surg West Days to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within established nursing models and collaborate with the care team to drive positive outcomes. You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while upholding the hospital’s mission and values.

In this role, you’ll assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures and document care, administer medications, and educate families about treatment plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• RN license to practice in Florida.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record as ordered by providers.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications and follow‑up, translating medical terminology.
