Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the General Medical/Surgical Unit in Elmhurst, IL. You will deliver safe, compassionate care and collaborate with the clinical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

We offer full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) with every 3rd weekend and holiday track, a competitive hourly pay range of $37.25–$57.74, and a benefits package designed to support professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN is the highest degree, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Registered Nurse - General Medical/Surgical Unit

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Full Time: 36 hours per week

Hours: 7pm - 7am with every 3rd weekend and holiday track

What you will do

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.

The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need

Required Education, License and/or Certification, Skills and/or Experience: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing

If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)

Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfatheredOR RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021

Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred.
