Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Med Surg/Telemetry in Owosso, MI. This 13-week travel/assignment requires a 12-hour night shift with 12-hour shifts and 2+ years in Med Surg, including telemetry proficiency.

Active MI license, BLS/ACLS, and Covid vaccine are required. The RN will deliver patient care through the nursing process, supervise ancillary staff, and participate in discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• Experience floating to PCU
• Proficient with Telemetry
• Active Michigan license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direction and guidance for patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social needs and develop a care plan within 24 hours of admission.
• Implement and document care plans; update as necessary at least every 24 hours.
• Promote patient education and discharge planning in collaboration with case management.
