Job summary

Henderson Hospital in Henderson, NV, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an RN for full-time night shifts. You will provide safe, patient-centered nursing care, lead the care team, and ensure service excellence in a busy acute care setting.

Required is an NV RN license with current BLS; PALS or NRP as applicable. BSN preferred, with 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience. Interim licensure may be required by the NV Board of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One (1) year full time or three (3) years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• An interim RN license must be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
