Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Med Surg unit in Orange Park, FL. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and follow established nursing models to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, and patient and family education. A Florida RN license and BLS are required, with ADN or BSN degree as indicated.

Qualifications

• RN License required within state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Academic degree as stated (ADN or BSN) and eligibility to practice nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, report changes.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and advocate for patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
