Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Cardiology unit. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure documentation aligns with standards of practice while supporting nurse-driven care models.

You will administer medications, monitor patient responses, educate families, and advocate for patients and their families while upholding the hospital's mission and values in a high-quality care

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing in Florida.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing or RN Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests; anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up.
