Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients and collaborate with physicians on changes in condition.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and experience in acute care settings. Ventilator management skills and BSN are preferred; full-time day shift.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct patient care within the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Educate patient and family; guide activities of other nursing staff.
