AdventHealth in Rome, Georgia, is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a 3‑12 hour shift unit. You will perform assessments, develop SMART care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

This role offers a $20,000 sign‑on bonus, a daytime schedule (3 x 12s), and career ladder opportunities. Education includes ASN required, BSN preferred; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• One+ years of hospital/acute care nursing experience (preferred).
• RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations to identify needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with SMART goals in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge instructions.
• Advocate for patient health and safety, coordinating resources to improve outcomes.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement, applying current healthcare research to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers and other providers for coordinated care.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to prioritize needs and ensure timely care.
• Document care activities in medical records for continuity and quality.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient progress.
• Perform nursing procedures such as wound care and catheterization.
• Ensure patient safety and participate in bedside shift reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
